Women of Promise was founded by Rev. Evelyn J. Taylor in 2003. This ministry provides mentoring, teaching, and spiritual counseling. Women of Promise provides an opportunity for women to communicate and encourage one another via email, and personal contact. Our mission is to push women into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. We want you to develop a hunger to discover every promise God has made in His Word. After discovering God's promises, you will be empowered not only to possess the promises but be able to share and encourage other women to receive their promises.
Quite often we want to possess the promises without meeting the conditions. It is my desire that women will have a hunger to know God. Not an intellectual "know," but an intimate "know." Apostle Paul said in Philippians 3:10 "I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death."
Many times we question if God loved me than why did this happen to me? The question is not if God loves me, the question is do I love Him? Do I love Him enough to obey His Word? Do I love Him enough to really seek to "know" Him? Ask yourself the question, How much do I love God?
I pray that you will love God with all of your heart and seek to know Him intimately. I have a mandate from God to teach you how to walk in obedience to His Word. As the you allow the Holy Spirit to guide you toward your purpose, you will become a REAL Woman of Promise.

D’Athlone Brown is a woman of faith and believes that Jesus can change anyone’s life. He has radically transformed her life and through His Spirit, she has overcome the pain and lost one feels after a divorce, living a guilt and shame based life, depression, perfectionism, being critical and controlling, pride, addiction and low self-esteem. She attended the University of South Florida where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. She served in ministry at Good News Global Ministries under the leadership of Bishop Scott and Dr. Evelyn Taylor and was ordained as an Elder in 2009. In 2010 following the direction of the Lord, she relocated to Chicago, where she currently attends Moody Bible Church and oversees the Chicago chapter of Women of Promise, Inc. She is actively involved in helping women find wholeness, healing and joy in the Lord, aiding the homeless, and mentoring people both young and old. Reverend D’Athlone Brown is available as a conference teacher or speaker.

Diane Johnson is a first generation minister. She is happily married and the mother of six daughters. She is gifted by the Holy Spirit in the area of mentoring hurting women. Her desire is to equip and empower the Women of God to exercise their God given ministries, she also desire to move women towards Christian maturity through worship, and pray. Diane Johnson is the co-founder and co-pastor of Praise the Lord Church of God located in Fayetteville North Carolina. Though Pastor Diane has extensive biblical training, it is her joy that God be glorified in all that she does. She truly believes that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is the “power of God for salvation to all who believe. She has a desire to see women transcend the limitations of the flesh and be all that God calls them to be through their service in Him, which is why she service as leader of the Women of Promise in Fayetteville NC.
